Church Thanksgiving OOTD/FOTD - GO NEUTRAL!
Hello Loves,
Here's a quick OOTD and FOTD post.
As some of you may know, I am a member of INC (Iglesia ni Cristo). Every July and December, we hold our Thanksgiving. During these times, I make sure that I wear something special. It's the time of the year that I would really spend money on a simple dress. My family and I really prepare for this special event to give thanks to our Lord God for all the blessings He continues to shower us.
So here's what I wore on our MidYear Thanksgiving and I call this look: CHIC of the DAY!
FOTD
- For my face I went a little too much I think. I got Purple smokey eyes and nude lips!
Products Used:
4U2 BB Cream and BB Powder
Elizabeth Arden Makeup Palette
Urban Decay 24hr liner in Purple
In2It Liquid Liner
Majolica Majorca Lash King
Pinkie Swear Lipstick in 02
What I wore:
Dorothy Perkins Sculpted Dress
- I've been wanting to buy myself a dress from Dorothy Perkins so I was super happy that they went On Sale. It gave me a reason to actually visit the store without looking shocked at the price tags. Actually when I roamed around the store, the prices are just fine. I got mine for the regular price and it's not too bad. So I left the store a happy bear.
Nine West Nude Pump
- My uncle from the US recently gave this to me when he came back here in the Philippines. It's a bit larger that what I would normally wear but a cork on it could really help a lot. It's my first pair of Nine West shoes so I was so happy when I got it and I really planned to save it for Thanksgiving.
Bewitched Bags
- To have a pop of color because I was going too neutral, I got my favorite satchel from Bewitched Bags.
With my blazer, it's just an old one I got from Tiangge for Php250.
Product Details here
How about you guys, which occasion do you normally spend your money on? I would love to hear them!
Thanks for dropping by.
XOXO

Wedding Guest Outfit/Face of the Day (HMUA of the day!)
So I had the chance to do my cousin's entourage makeup last Friday. I had to do 5 bridesmaids and my aunts' makeup as part of the package they availed for my hair and makeup services. I am glad I had my sister assist me for the hair( it was her first gig!hooray!).
Being the official hair and makeup artist of the family, made it hard for me to have enough time get myself all dolled up.
I had no choice that day but to resort to my go-to glam hair and makeup.
For my face I did simple eye makeup, sun-kissed face and Vavavoom super red lips! For my hair, I made a tiny poof and let my hair straight down for a more polished look.
What I used:
Face:
Maybelline Shine Free 2way powder foundation
Cinema Secrets Moisture Spray
(NO CONCEALER)
Cheeks:
ELF Dual Blush and Bronzer
Eyes:
Elizabeth Arden Palette
Revlon Color Stay liquid pen liner
Mary Lash Love
Lips
Mary Kay Creme Lipstick in Rouge
Hair:
few bobby pins and Loreal Hair AeroSpray
Outfit
Originally, I was going for a flapper style that's why I chose the dress I borrowed to my cousin plus my go-to glam red pumps.
Dress: Landmark
Shoes: Divisoria
Accessories: What Women Want by SM Accessories.
Even though my flapper style attempt failed, I still got compliments from my fabulous family and they were like " Were you really busy? How come you still had time to be glamorous?" and I was like "Oh well that's what red lipstick and a little confidence can do! "
I hope you find this post helpful in getting easy glammed up look on special occasions.
Thanks for reading and STAY FABULOUS!

Outfit Post: Chief Editor Peg ( Chic on a Budget)
Hello Lovelies,
It's be again for another post. It's Friday and like I said on my last post, I will try my best to write at least once a week.
Anyway, last week I decided to go to church on Saturday since my dad will go the same day. I dont
normally wear something special when I attend worship services but I just felt a little chic-ish that day.
So here's what I came up with
My inspiration? Well I dont know..I have been wanting to pull off this outfit but as some of you might know, I am working from home so I rarely dress up like this. For me it's a luxury to go to church looking like this. Anyway, my inspiration maybe are the chief editors of some famous magazine. Their looks simply amaze me
and of course they look so fierce and strong but you still see the woman in them. They truly symbolizes Women Power!
What I wore:
My ankle boots are from Primadonna (Php1299) which I got December last year as part of my huge holiday haul.
As you notice I didn't wear any accessories because I felt like it's already too much.
Here's another shot..I dont know if it's the angle of the shot, or if my heels are too high or maybe our ceiling is just to low that made me look short in this photo. Oh well can you see my grandma's pic on the wall? Now you know where we get our "kikayness" from!
I hope you enjoy reading this post. Thank you so much for reading and Stay Fabulous!

Kim Nana Inspired "No Makeup" Makeup and Usamimi Headband
Hey Everyone,
I am a big fan of Lee Min Ho and I dont know why it took me a lot of courage to start watching his drama series "City Hunter". Maybe because I know myself. I know that once I start watching, I will not be able to stop. Well, it actually happened. I was able to finish the whole series for 1 week. Anyway, if you're watching this series, you probably know Kim Nana (Park Min Young). In the series, she wore this cute headband and it was only until last weekend when I found out that it's called a wireband. It is actually called Usamimi in Japan. When City Hunter aired in Korea, my student told me that they raved over this headband and I am so glad that I found this in Alabang Town Center. It's a little more expensive than what I would spend for a single headband but I really thought that it's worth it.
I decided to make another "no makeup" makeup tutorial but this time, I'm gonna use different techniques plus I'm gonna use my "Usamimi" headband so yeah..let's get started!!!
Step by Step
1. Apply BB cream all over your face and apply some on your neck.
2. Apply concealer in a triangular motion and blend well. This will highlight your face even more.
3. Take a light eyeshadow and apply it on your lids.
4. Take the taupe shade and apply it on your crease area to add some definition.
5. This is a new way to tightline your eyes. Take your eyeliner brush then spray some water then take any matte black shadow. Then you can start tightlining your eyes.
6. Curl your lashes and apply mascara.
7. Apply cream blush. Make sure you blend well to achieve a natural looking blush.
8. Set off everything with a powder but dont apply it all over your face to achieve that dewy glow.
9. Apply lipstick on your lower lips then blend it using your finger and then apply lipbalm.
So here's the final look with my usamimi headband :)
I hope you enjoy this tutorial and I will talk to you on my next blog :)Thank you so much and
Stay Fabulous!

Adele Grammy 2012 Inspired Makeup Look
Hey Everyone,
I decided to recreate Adele's look on the 2012 Grammy Awards. She looked so stunning on the red carpet and her performance just gave me goosebumps so I decided to film a video trying to recreate her looks. I decided to do 2 looks because she's just so lovely I can't choose between the 2. I would call this a tutorial because I really didn't know how the makeup artist did her makeup but I will still include the step by step procedure on how I recreated the look as well as the products I used. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video!
Step by Step
I already prep my face with toner, moisturizer, face primer and foundation
1. Prime you lids as always.
2. Take 2 light shadows. Apply the lighter one on the inner corner of the eyes and the brow bones then apply the other shade on the outer half blending it together with the lighter shadow you applied earlier.
3. Take a taupe e/s then apply it on your crease to add definition to your eyes.
4. Line your eyes.
5. Curl your lashes and apply mascara
6. Set your face with a powder
7. Contour the hollows of your cheeks and add a peach blush then blend it in to your contour shade.
8. Line your lips with a red lip liner then apply red lipstick.
Now for the second look...
1. Apply a dark shade on your crease and blend it well.
2. Change from red lips to nude pink lip shade.
Products Used:
Eyes:
Estee Lauder Deluxe Eyeshadow Compact
Ny nude on nude palette
Nyx eye lashes
Nichido brow pencil
ELF brow kit
Nichido mineral kohl pencil
Face:
Revlon photoready
Ever Bilena Advance Studio stick foundation
Maybelline shine free cake powder
cheeks:
Ever Bilena Advance 3D compact
Allue in peach pie
lips
Look 1: Nichido lip pencil in Blaze and NYX bloody mary
Look 2:nichido lip pencil rosette and MAC Amplified
Although I did this right after the Grammy's, it took me time before I was able to edit it. I know you can see tons of videos about Adele's look on Grammy's but I still hope you enjoy my video.
I'll talk to you guys later and Stay Fabulous!

Late Holiday Post: OOTD and Haul
Hi Guys,
I know it's a bit late but I just wanted to show you the videos that I filmed last holiday season. I had two videos but I just put them in one so it will be a lot easier to edit.
First thing that I'm gonna show you is the outfit that I wore on our Christmas party. I wore a red and green blouse and paired it up with shorts. I bought the blouse from a factory outlet here in my area while I got the shorts from crissa. I accessorized my outfit with a belt then I used my red and green bangles to match with my outfit. For my shoes I wore my sandals from celine.
Next on the video was my Christmas present haul. I got most of my presents earlier. First is the office chair. I know it's not the first thing that I mentioned from my video but it's actually the first present I got on that day. I was so happy to receive it because that is something I wouldn't buy for myself or maybe it would take a lot of time before I consider getting myself one. And when I say a lot of time...it means more than a year or so.. Anyway, right after I got the office chair, my parcel from Korea came and my heart was pounding so fast. The package was from my students in Korea. They got me a lot of cosmetics...I know because I requested for it. They asked me what I wanted so what else would I say? Of course Korea is known for really good cosmetics and because some of them are expensive when you buy them here in the Philippines, I thought of asking for some cosmetics. So on the evening on that same day, I went to the Christmas party just like what I said on my OOTD video, my friends and I had a party. As usual, they requested me to bring my specialty which is a Korean chicken dish called "DAK KANG JUNG". We exchanged gifts and two of my friends gave her Christmas present in advance. Anyway, this day was really something. I was so tired while filming the video but I really thought I would share with you guys my Christmas presents. I was really tired and I was sick when i filmed this video but I still managed to film it til the end.
So here's the list of the things I got from my students:
missha Time Revolution white cure (Toner and Moisturizer)
Missha Nail Polish in 6 different colors.
Missha Velvet art shadow palette
Missha complete BB cream
Missha sunblock
Missha Signature series lipstick
