San San Haul and Swatches

Hey Lovelies!
 If you have read my Weekend Galore blog, you probably know that I'd picked out some San San products from their weekend sale.


             Here they are!!!

Let's Start off with the concealers 

1st shade: Natural

This shade is actually good if you're going to do the proper highlight/contour technique because as you can see it's really light. I can't wait to try this one for a tutorial!

2nd Shade: Olive

This shade is perfect for my skin tone as of the moment because my skin is a bit darker than usual. It is actually good to use for men because it blends well on the skin.

Glass type lid looks pretty sturdy and I think it wont break easily even after using for a long time.

I love San San Mousse blush because it's pigmented and it's super blendable. I have been using the Pink Blush shade for a long time and I can't wait to try this Mocha blush shade.

I can say that the shade is a bit darker than my skin tone so I can't use it on me. I'd probably get a lighter shade which I am totally not aware of because the shade is not too visible in the bottle.

Weekend Galore: Movie, Freebies,Food and Haul

Hey Lovelies!

     How was your weekend? Did you have fun? Whether, you had a girl bonding, pampered yourself in spa,went shopping or simply stayed home with your family, we all know that weekend is the highly anticipated days of the week. During the weekends, we get to recharge energy and release all the stress we got from a exhausting week at work or in school so we will be ready for a whole new week again.

As for me, I rarely enjoy the weekend because I still work on Saturdays and Sundays but of course I still give myself a time to relax and rest. Spending time with my family is great way to release stress because I get to laugh a lot with them. Before or after I go to church which is by the way on top of my weekend "to-do list", I always spend lunch time with my family. It's my CHEAT DAY! Whether we're having a very simple meal which consist of veggies, meat/fish, the famous Lapid Chicharon and of course.. Our  meal will not be enough without COKE!!

Anyway let me share to you what I did this weekend. It's not the typical church and family day because I get the chance to see a movie and try out new things.

Let's start off with Snow White and the Huntsman on Friday evening. The movie was sponsored by Skin White and I was one of the lucky 100 bloggers to win tickets for the exclusive screening in Shang Cineplex.

So that's what I did on Friday..Come Saturday and I was so excited to try the famous Bon Chon. I went to Bon Chon Greenhills and it's located in Promenade in front of the Theatre Mall.

After having a sumptuous meal at Bon Chon, I saw an HBC outlet while I was walking around Greenhills and guess what?! They're on Sale!

I got these babies for now over Php250. I can't wait to try them and do the review. I will post a separate blog for this one :) 

And the comes Sunday.. Few more hours and I'm back to work. After church and lunch time with my family, I came back home earlier than usual because I wanted to clean up my room. So here's the final look of my newly cleaned room! I love how my bed sheet and curtain match the color of my room :) 

So after a very wonderful weekend, I am ready to welcome another week a work with a smile!

Skin White and Nuffnang Bring You.. Snow White and the Huntsman

Those were the names people used to call me when I was young especially when I was 12 because we just moved to Manila from Cavite. I loved the outdoors so I love playing outside with my friends, swim in the river and go mountain climbing. Because of that, my skin became so dark. When we moved to Manila, I became so conscious about my skin color. I didn't go out for a long time and I hated staying under the sun for more than an hour.
It was difficult for me to get back to my real skin tone because I was too young to use some whitening products. I didn't do anything but my skin got a little lighter...

I moved again and this time we were in Laguna. I was really scared to become dark so when I turned 16, I feel like it's time for me to use skin whitening products but the problem was, they were so expensive. And so Skin White came. I saw the ad on tv and I wanted to try it right away but I was thinking if I can afford it or not. I head to the nearest Mercury Drug which was the nearest drugstore in my town. I was surprised to see that it was cheap so I bought it immediately. I used it together with another whitening soap and I was surprised with the result. My skin got a lot lighter after a month.  I love how people noticed how my skin improved over the months and how they can't help but notice :) I continued to use it and will probably use it forever along with my other whitening products.

Just Got Lucky Haul

Hey Pretty Bellas!!!

      I am super super excited to share this with you guys because this is the first time ever that I am going to do a giveaway haul. I have been joining contest giveaways of the youtube gurus and bloggers since I got into makeup.

 I swear I was really disappointed whenever I wasn't picked up as the lucky winner. But I realize, there's really nothing to lose so I kept on joining until one Sunday night, a very unexpected thing happened.
I saw one of my friend's post to Makeup Hub by Naturale Collezione. It's a picture of her and her mom and then I found out that Makeup Hub by NC was holding a Mother's Day giveaway. The rule was to post a picture of you and your mom telling why you love her. I didn't have any pictures of my mom in my computer so I decided to post a picture of me and grandma. I wasn't sure if it's valid but I joined anyway. Luckily, I got picked! I won a gift certificate from a derm clinic (I wasn't sure of the name). At first I thought I won a gift certificate from Makeup Hub by NC but my friend who is also a blogger told me that it was a GC from a derm clinic. I haven't received that yet but I'll probably do another blog for that to keep you updated.


So next giveaway was help by Skye Avenue, one of the online stores in the Philippines. Miss Tan, help a birthday giveaway which I wasn't able to join because I just liked her page and couple of hourse later, she already announced the winner. Anyway, good thing she held another one which was very easy. She posted a status saying that if the status received 30 likes, it will be a giveaway. So because of my habit of liking other people's posts, I liked it and voila! I got picked again! I was super excited and I can't believe my eyes. It's funny that my other friend who is also a famous blogger tagged me. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have seen it earlier. I seriously didn't have any idea that I won. Anyway, my prize came on Wednesday and here they are:
