Unboxing August BDJ

Finally!!! The long wait is over.. After all the delays and all the calamities, I never thought I could ever get my hands on my very first BDJ box. I guess what I felt while waiting for sooooooo long is just normal for a first time subscriber like me. I ordered my box somewhere in June hoping I could still get a July box. Unfortunately, it was already out of stock so they signed me up for August instead.

                 

So I would admit that I was disappointed to see a small box and just crossed my fingers that it would be good enough while opening the package. But when I saw Shiseido, I jumped for joy!! Yey! It was a sure win for me. Although what's inside are just sample sizes, some of then could really last me a month or two I believe so I am satisfied. For less than Php600 you got all of these deluxe samples from Shiseido!

When I checked some of other people's comments about the box, I can tell that they are pretty disappointed because for the past 2mos, people are receiving big boxes with lots of goodies in it. I guess most people who signed up for this are just after the quantity not the quality of products they are getting. I dont blame them if they feel that way though, but I really hope they'd stop comparing the August box from the previous ones.

Church Thanksgiving OOTD/FOTD - GO NEUTRAL!

Here's a quick OOTD and FOTD post.

As some of you may know, I am a member of INC (Iglesia ni Cristo). Every July and December, we hold our Thanksgiving. During these times, I make sure that I wear something special. It's the time of the year that I would really spend money on a simple dress. My family and I really prepare for this special event to give thanks to our Lord God for all the blessings He continues to shower us.

So here's what I wore on our MidYear Thanksgiving and I call this look: CHIC of the DAY!

        - I've been wanting to buy myself a dress from Dorothy Perkins so I was super happy that they went On Sale. It gave me a reason to actually visit the store without looking shocked at the price tags. Actually when I roamed around the store, the prices are just fine. I got mine for the regular price and it's not too bad. So I left the store a happy bear.

Nine West Nude Pump 
       - My uncle from the US recently gave this to me when he came back here in the Philippines. It's a bit larger that what I would normally wear but a cork on it could really help a lot. It's my first pair of Nine West shoes so I was so happy when I got it and I really planned to save it for Thanksgiving.

Bewitched Bags
        - To have a  pop of color because I was going too neutral, I got my favorite satchel from Bewitched Bags.

July Collective Haul

I am not sure if any of my followers can still remember me because it's been ages since the last time I have the time to create a post here.

Anyway, I have been very busy with my job lately so as much as I want to, my hands and brain are too tired at the end of the day. Now the project I have been working on for months now is almost over so I decided to start posting again.

Wedding Guest Outfit/Face of the Day (HMUA of the day!)

So I had the chance to do my cousin's entourage makeup last Friday. I had to do 5 bridesmaids and my aunts' makeup as part of the package they availed for my hair and makeup services. I am glad I had my sister assist me for the hair( it was her first gig!hooray!).

Being the official  hair and makeup artist of the family, made it hard for me to have enough time get myself all dolled up.

I had no choice that day but to resort to my go-to glam hair and makeup.

For my face I did simple eye makeup, sun-kissed face and Vavavoom super red lips! For my hair, I made a tiny poof and let my hair straight down for a more polished look.

Shopping at Divisoria is probably the best thing a girl can do when you want to add a huge collection to your wardrobe without spending a fortune. Whenever I have to go somewhere such as trips in and out of the country, I always go to Divisoria because I can get the things I need and still have some more for impulsive buying!

There are so many things to choose from and you just need to know where to go to find the things that you need to get the best deals you could ever have.

*Try to search on the outdoor market first before going in. Sometimes, they have the same items and they are a lot cheaper!

* Ask for discounts! A big one! Practice how to bargain! You have the license to do that :)

Makeup Brush Spot Cleaning

Hello Everyone,

   I used to always make sure that I deep clean clean my makeup brushes once a week. I like them squeaky clean all the time. But I realized I'm not doing any good to my brushes so I tried to purchase James Cooper's Makeup brush cleaner.

   For me, paying Php399 for a brush cleaner is not economical because I have too many brushes. But I know this will be really helpful for my babies so I try to find ways to save a little more of the product everytime I use it.

Everyday Natural Glow: Summer Trend 2013

I have always been  a fan of subtle makeup. I love the natural glow and it's always been my go-to makeup look. Lucky for me, it is the summer trend for 2013 according to Harper's Bazaar. But as for me, natural glow will never go out of trend. All you need to do is how to work it out depending on your skin type. Those who have combination to very oily skin need to be extra careful in pulling this look off. Of course you dont want to glow because of your shiny oily face,right?

Wow! I'm totally doing it..I'm writing on my blog again. I have been busy sorting things out for the new year and there are/were a lot of things going on with me right now. One of them is setting up my new blog which is   the Real Estate.Ph that actually have a live ad at Sulit.Com/AvidaLady.

Home Improvement 

Gas Range - I always want one of these for my kitchen because first, I love to cook and 2nd, I want to learn how to bake.

Children's bed- I always wanted to have a lovely space for my children and the bed below is exactly what I need. It gives them a lot of storage and allows more space to their room.

For the dining I wanted to have at least 6 seater dining table. We love to eat together so having enough space for the table is great to have more food to share with the family. 

Living Room- I always want to have an L-Shape couch for my house. It gives a lot of space for the whole family to bond and have fun.

My Career

I do a lot of things for a living. I'm a homebased virtual assistant/content editor, online teacher, blogger,makeup artist and just recently I became an accredited property specialist of Avida Towers.Whew!

So since I do a lot of things, I need a lot of things to gear me up and be ready to do everything at the most convenient way. 

High back chair - Of course, sitting all day in front f the computer can be literally such a pain in the a** and the back! So one of the things I am planning to get and this should be real soon is a high back chair. 

Office Desk- I love to have this office desk for no reason at all.. I have a built in one but I want this more!

Ipad 3 or 4-  Like cmon guys, who wouldn't want this baby? LOL! But it's not just a "want" for me... I need it..like seriously! 

Traincase - It's been on my wishlist since I started to do makeup for other people. 

Airbrush Makeup set - Since this is a trend and most of the brides prefer to have airbrush makeup on their special day, I wanted to have them so I can get more clients :) As much as I love traditional makeup sometimes, you really need to follow the trend to meet your clients' expectations.

Car- so ok..if I'd be lucky this year and I know I am going to be, I would love to have my own car. But first, I need to learn how to drive! LOL! I want to have my dream boyfriend...A white Mazda 3!

I Can Be Body Beautiful at Any Age with Wacoal

And I know how important keeping my body healthy because my kids only depend on me.

  It;s really hard to have a beautiful body when you're too busy juggling 3 jobs and not to mention being a hands on mom full time. But I always have  a way of faking it ( well not in a bad way). Having the perfect
undies would be a great trick to make your body look beautiful.

Look at this as an example

   It's perfect when you're going to night out with your girlfriends. It will conceal your unwanted and excess fats plus it will give you the perfect oohh lala shape!














                                                               Another example  is something that you can wear on a daily basis.

It is important to me to wear something that gives the right support without being too uncomfortable. It may be TMI but I really love wearing sexy undies because it instantly gives me the right confidence that I need and also it makes me feel sexy all the time.













      As you see, losing weight is not the only way to have a body beautiful at any age. You just need to wear something that can make you feel good and sexy. So ladies, what are you waiting for? Go and raid your closet. Ditch your grandma-ish undies and replace them with the ones that fit your age, body and lifestyle and STAY BODY BEAUTIFUL!

Outfit Post: Chief Editor Peg ( Chic on a Budget)

Hello Lovelies, 

    It's be again for another post. It's Friday and like I said on my last post, I will try my best to write at least once a week. 

    Anyway, last week I decided to go to church on Saturday since my dad will go the same day. I dont
normally wear something special when I attend worship services but I just felt a little chic-ish that day.

So here's what I came up with 

My inspiration? Well I dont know..I have been wanting to pull off this outfit but as some of you might know, I am working from home so I rarely dress up like this. For me it's a luxury to go to church looking like this. Anyway, my inspiration maybe are the chief editors of some famous magazine. Their looks simply amaze me
and of course they look so fierce and strong but you still see the woman in them. They truly symbolizes Women Power!

Dewy Face 101

Hello Hello Lovely Bellas!!

             Before anything else let me give you a big bear hug!! >^_____^<   OMG! I miss you all and I can't believe I finally got the chance to write here in my blog. I have been so busy with work and some other stuff.
But dont worry, I won't bore you telling the stories on why I've been gone for soooooo long. I wanna go straight ahead and write what I need to write before I get busy again.. Just using my lunchbreak for this. LOL ^__^

Dewy Face. That's something I wan to share with you.

 
I have been receiving questions on how to achieve a dewy skin. Honestly, I have no special routine on how to achieve this look. Here's how I do it:

1. Prep my face properly by cleansing,toning and moisturizing it. For my daily skin care routine click HERE . It's my skincare,foundation and brow routine all in one.
2. Like I said not special routine. I will probably depend the routine on the weather. Example, if the weather is too hot, I will put a little amount of BB cream/ foundation and then set it with dual foundation. However, if the weather is a little bit cooler, I can just set it with loose powder and voila! I'm done!

 See how easy it was for me?  I know we have different skin types so you have to get to know your skin first before you achieve a perfectly dewy skin. But wait there's more! Coming Home to Mandaue Foam

Hey guys!

  I was browsing through youtube when I saw this video: 

And then it made me think.. What would my home belike


This is how I always imagine my house would be like.

 I want a simple house with a lot of windows and a porch where my family can spend time to on a beautiful sunny day. I also want enough bedrooms for the whole family and  a nice and cozy  living room where we can enjoy a nice movie marathon together. And of course, I wont forget the kitchen and dining just because I love to cook and we love to eat!

So since you now know how I imagine what my house would be like, let me take you to an imaginary tour inside my dream house!  Come in and see what my good finds are from Mandaue Foam!!

First stop, the living room. Just like what I said I want it to be nice and cozy.

An L shape sofa can never go wrong for a big family like mine. I picked a black one so I can always accentuate it with other different colors plus having a lot of kids in the house can keep the sofa from gathering too much dirt! 

Picture frames.. a lot of them.Just because I love taking pictures of my kids. I will post each and every achievements they have on our walls just like facebook! A like button will also be perfect! LOL

And of course a complete home theatre system will make any living room perfect!

Now you see my living room, let me take you to the kitchen and dining room....

 This is my dream kitchen. It's just simple but the window on the kitchen sink area made it perfect!
                                     

This classy and comfy dining set from Mandaue Foam is what I want for my dining area. This is perfect for a big family like mine. I always believe that a family that having a meal with the family is the best part of anyone's day as you can share good memories with them while sharing good meal together. 

Ok so you see the first floor of my house, now let me take you the 2nd floor.

Here's what my children's bedroom would look like. I saw this in Mandaue foam and thought it would be perfect for all of them 

Now let head on to my office. Since I am working from home, it's very important for me that my work station will be comfy and nice. 

 A comfortable chair is a must have since I always spend long hours in front of my computer

The next 2 items are not supposed to be in one's office but in my case, they're must haves! Being a beauty blogger made me imagine my office to have these so it's like office/vanity corner

So now you see my office. Let's head on to my bedroom. Here are the things that you can find. 

A big comfy bed where you can snuggle up and talk with your partner for life about how your day was. Also have a good night sleep together so you can be ready to face another beautiful day!

Now you've seen my home, my stuff..now get out of my imagination! ^__^v

As you can see, it's always good to have the things that will give you not only style but comfort that you need in your daily life.
