Green and Gold Makeup Tutorial: For Standard Eyes and Monolids

Hey Everyone,

I'm back for another makeup tutorial for all you ladies out there. Last weekend, I helped my friends in their garage sale. My friends gave me some makeup and one of them is the Beauty Angel Palette. It has 12 eye shadows and 2 blush. The shadows comes with shimmery, satin and semi matte shades.

I decided to use this palette today just because. I decided to use green and gold so if you want to learn how I did this look, stay tune and let's jump into everything.

Products Used:
Beauty Angel Palette

Inside the Palette
NYX nude on Nude

Other eye products
Face Products

Lip Products

Preparation:
As always, I already prep my face with toner, moisturizer, primer and foundation.

Procedure:
Eyes
1. Apply primer on your lids and under your lower lash line.
2. Take the gold shade and apply it on the inner 2/3 of you lids. Make sure you spread it evenly.
3. Next, take this light green shadow and apply it on the outer third of your lids and work you way in the crease area.
4. Take the medium shade of green from the palette (thyme-ish) and apply it on your outer V. Blend it well together with the other 2 shades we applied earlier.
5.  Take this darkest green shadow and blend it together with the medium green shade.
6. Now to add more definition on your eyes, black shadow from the same palette and apply it on the outer corner of your eyes in circular motion working your way a little bit in.
7. Blend..Blend...Blend...
8. Apply highlight on your brow bone. Now as much as I want to use all the shades in the palette, I think it's best to use a matte light shadow for your brow bone because we already have a lot of shimmers going on. Apply it also on the inner V of your eyes and blend it together with the gold shade.
9. Iight line using an eye pencil  and use a liquid liner to line your upper lash line.
10. Apply the darkest shade of green on your lower lash line.
11. Curl you lashes and apply mascara.

Face:
1. To clean off the fall outs, apply foundation again and concealer if you need more coverage then blend it well on your face.
2. Contour the hallows of your cheeks and apply blush. Take the pink blush from the same palette.

Lips
1. Line your lips and blend it well all over your upper and lower lips.
2. Take this nude lipstick and top it off with lip gloss.

And we're done! You can wear this look during daytime and if you want to wear this for night time, you can make it look more dramatic by intensifying the black shadow and apply half or full fake lashes.

I hope you find this tutorial helpful and I'll talk  to you on my next blog! Stay Fabulosa!!!

DIY Iced Green Tea Eye Pads- Bid Puffy Eyes Goodbye!

Hello Everyone,

Have you ever suffered from swollen eyes due to lack of sleep, astigmatism or from crying yourself to sleep last night because you broke up with your bf/gf? swollen eyes can make us look tired even after sleeping for 8hrs.You can also get puffy eyes by drinking water too much before going to bed. Although you can get a lot of good health benefits by drinking a lot of water everyday, drinking water before bed will cause your eyes to swell. That's because the water will not be eliminated from your body when you sleep.

Anyway, I've suffered from this too many times before so I tried to look for some ways on how to reduce this or totally get rid of the annoying puffy eyes.I swear by Purederm Puffy Eyes Minimizing Patche.  It  will totally get rid of your eye bags in just one night. But this is too expensive to use on a daily basis plus it will only minimize the under eye bags. Sometimes, when you suffer from astigmatism, you tend to get swollen eyes in the morning as if you just got bitten by some insects or sometimes when you cry yourself to sleep your lids tend to become puffy as well.

While I was enjoying my cup of green tea, I thought that maybe I can make my own eye pads using this. Green tea has a lot of health benefits. Is there any other food or drink reported as many benefits as green tea? There are a lot of medicinal benefits that you can get from green tea from headache to depression. It is also reputed to be helpful to some illnesses such as cancer, high cholesterol level, infection, etc.

So enough of the blah blah blah and let's get started!

What You'll Need:
1 green tea bag
1 cup hot water
cotton pads
ziplock or any plastic container

1. Put the tea bag onto the cup of water. The let it cool down a little bit.
2. Once the tea is warm, you can start to dip each cotton pad into it.
3. Put the dipped cotton pads in a ziploc or plastic container but make sure not to layer them.
4. Let it totally cool down then put it in a fridge and there you have it!

You can make as many pads as you can. This will save you time and energy :)
this can only fit 4 but I still put 6..

REMINDER: dont pile them up because it will be so hard to tore them apart... LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE :(

so this happens when you pile them up..

You can start to use it the next day. Thaw it out first before you place it on your eyes. Go ahead and wash your face first or take a shower. It will be ready by the time you done. These eye pads have soothing effect and can help your blood to circulate better.

For best result, use this every morning right after you wash your face. This will take 10minutes of your daily morning routine but it sure pays. :) You will bid puffy eyes in no time!!! You can also put these pads all over your face at night. You face needs some green tea lovin' too so go ahead and use it as face mask.

Other things I do with green tea:
I use it to rinse my face at night. So once you wash you face with a cleanser, rinse it with warm green tea.
When steaming my face, I dont just use hot water. I add some green tea into it. You dont have to use new tea bag all the time. When I drink tea, I keep the tea bag so I can use it for my facial steam. (tutorial coming up next...)

Adele Grammy 2012 Inspired Makeup Look

   Hey Everyone,
I decided to recreate Adele's look on the 2012 Grammy Awards. She looked so stunning on the red carpet and her performance just gave me goosebumps so I decided to film a video trying to recreate her looks. I decided to do 2 looks because she's just so lovely I can't choose between the 2.  I would call this a tutorial because I really didn't know how the makeup artist did her makeup but I will still include the step by step procedure on how I recreated the look as well as the products I used. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video!

Step by Step
I already prep my face with toner, moisturizer, face primer and foundation

3. Take a taupe e/s then apply it on your crease to add definition to your eyes.
4. Line your eyes.
5.  Curl your lashes and apply mascara
6. Set your face with a powder
7. Contour the hollows of your cheeks and add a peach blush then blend it in to your contour shade.
8. Line your lips with a red lip liner then apply red lipstick.

Now for the second look...
1. Apply a dark shade on your crease and blend it well.
2. Change from red lips to nude pink lip shade.

Product Review: Ever Bilena

Hello Everyone!

Today I decided to write a product review about Ever Bilena products. I knew this cosmetic brand for a long time but back then I used to be skeptical in buying their products because I think it's not good enough. I tried to use their eye pencil before but I didn't like it. Anyway, I got curious about it because I've heard good reviews from some of the YT gurus here in the Philippines. I must say they took me by surprise when I tried them. So here's my review for Ever Bilena Advance collection.

Ever Bilena Advance Studio Finish stick Foundation (...now try saying that 10x! LOL)
I bought this foundation because I needed it for my model in the academy. My instructor said that it's a good foundation so I decided to use it since I've never tried a local stick foundation. I was surprised with this product because it had a good finish. It didn't look cakey on me and it doesn't feel heavy as well. So yeah, I thought that maybe it will end their but I was wrong. My makeup stayed on for a long time because it didn't smear. It actually became better.
Pros: good finish, stays on for a long time and it doesn't look cakey
Cons: it's hard to apply and blend.
Price: Php165
Where to buy:Any Ever Bilena outlet. SM department stores and Watsons

Ever Bilena Advance 3D Compact
This is one of their new products from the Advance makeup line. The powder comes with 3 shades that's why it's called 3D compact. The darkest shade is for contour, the medium will help blend the the other 2 shades together so you can use it as a powder. The lightest shade is for highlight. It also comes with a powder puff that is super duper soft so I super super love it.
Pros: It's cheap, very useful for contour and highlight, it has a good finish, comes with a good powder puff
Cons: it doesn't stay on the face for a long time, lightest powder is not so good for highlight.
Price: Php150
Where to buy: SM department stores and Watsons

Ever Bilena Advance Concealer

This is probably my first liquid concealer ever. It has a light formula which I dont think is appropriate for covering acen scars. So what I do is I miss it with a stick foundation. I dont have much to say about this product so here are the pros and cons
Pros: cheap and easy to blend in
cons: it doesn't have a good coverage. too light for a concealer
Price: Php165

I hope you find this revew helpful and for more information about my page, please check ot my FB page, Youtube channel and tweeter! Have a great day!

Bee's Brow Routine

Hello Gorgeous!

Filling in my brows was the first makeup routine I got totally interested in because I barely have brows. The hair in my brows iss very thin so when I was a kid I always felt like there's something missing in my face. It was only until I reached my teenage years that I got totally conscious about it. I didn't know how to do my brows back then but since I want it to change, I tried to buy a black liner from ever bilena. I swear I had no idea what I was doing then. I lined my brows without even grooming them. Then one of my cousin-in-law's mom taught me how to do it properly and she advised me to get a brown brow pencil instead of black. So that's how I started learning more about my brows. I used one product to another. It was hard to find the right one for me. I also switched from one routine to another. It was just recently that I learned to blend and brush my brows and I loved it since. My bff is my double side brush from Marionnaud. :)

Anyway, enough of my brow history and let's jump into everything!

Preparation
In preparing your brows, you have to make sure that they are properly groomed. Some people have it done professionally but in my opinion, you really have to learn how to groom your brows so that you can do it whenever you need to plus I am more confident that I'm not gonna walk out of the salon looking like I just got the villain role on the next TV drama series. Anyway when grooming your brows, you can either use this blade that I got from Watson's or use tweezers.

When you're done grooming your brows, we can go ahead and jump into everything.

What I'm going to do is show you how I do my brows from the simple one to a more defined one.

1. Get a brow pencil that is 2 shades darker than your hair or always remember that your hair color should always be lighter than your brows. Avoid extreme contrast.

2. Start lining it lightly from the arch toward the end. To get the perfect arch of your brows, look straight in the mirror and get a pencil. You should create your arch on the outer end of your iris. Some people really do the perfect ever so archy arch..I know I'm just making up some words right now but what I want to say is that, you shouldn't make your arch too high because that will just add up age. Anyway, What I do is I just follow the natural arch of my brows and sometimes put it slightly higher. This will make you look a lot younger at least you wont look older than your age.

3. So when you're done finding the arch and lining your brows halfway out, you can lightly build up inwards. Then brush it using this Marionnaud 2 in 1 premium brush  (brow brush and angled brush) then start blending using the brow brush.. Blend it well and brush it upward when you reach the inner part of your brows.  Now this is my everyday brow routine when I'm just having my classes and I'm not planning to go out. I can go on all day working with just this.

4. Anyway, we can build this up by adding few more steps and using 1 more product. When I'm going out, I always make sure I use brow gel because it helps my brows stay in place. So using my E.L.F. brow kit, I'm going to take the brow gel and mix it with the brow powder using an angled brush then doing the same step I did with the brow pencil, I'm gonna line my brows and then blend and brush..blend and brush until I'm satisfied.
5. To clean off the excess, use a concealer and apply it on your brow bone and upper brow just like so..Then start to blend it to your skin.  Doing so will not only make your brows a lot cleaner but it will also make the brows look more defined.

And we're done! I hope you find this tutorial helpful. Dont forget to subscribe to my YT channel for more tutorials and please do check out my facebook and show some love! Oh wait there's more! the bird is tweeting and it's saying dont forget to follow me on twitter too! I will put all the necessary link on the info box below including the products I used and Where I got them.

Thanks for reading darlings and I'll talk to you on my next blog! Stay Fabulous.

Macaron Delight Tutorial_Sweet Valentine Makeup

Hey Everyone,

As you all know, I am a huge fan of Michelle Phan. One morning, I checked youtube new uploads just like I always do, I saw Mich's new video called "The Sweetest Thing" so I watched it. The video focused on Michelle's breakup. I know a lot of you girls out there including yours truly of course  suffer from this so in this short story Michelle showed some ways on how to deal with bad breakups. Some girls get a new haircut, some of them go shopping but here she had a new makeup look inspired by a popular French delicacy called macaron. I got inspired by the video and the new look so I thought of a way on how to recreate this look without buying Lancome's new line. Dont get me wrong, I would want to have that if I could. But for now, I will use my favorite drugstore products, It's a good thing that I have most of the colors. For this tutorial, I decided to use only one palette for the eye make up and cheeks. So if you want to learn how to achieve this look, keep watching and let's get started!

I've already prepared my face so we will jump into the eye make up. For this tutorial, I will only use my Aido Makeup set even though my Nichido got the closest pink shade to what Michelle used in the video. You can get the Aido Makeup set at Watson's or SM department store for Php499 about $12-13.

First thing that you need to do is prime your lids. Using a primer will not only prevent your eye shadow from creasing but it will also help to make your eye makeup stay in place until you decided to remove them.

1. Taking this light pink shadow, apply it on the inner half of your lids as a highlight. I know in the video Michelle used matte peach shadow but since I am recreating the look, I am going to use a slightly shimmered pink shadow.
2. I am going to combine a slightly darker pink  shadow to this purple shadow to make it more brighter.
3. To add a refreshing pop up color, use this minty green shade from the same palette and apply it on your lower lash line.
4. Take this chocolate brown shade and apply it on your upper lashline. Apply it a little bit thicker because we're still going to line it with a liquid liner. The shadow will soften the harshness of the black liquid liner. But if you want the intensity of the liner, you can skip this step.
5. Apply shimmery white shadow on the inner corner of you eyes to make them appear brighter.
6. Now you can line your eyes.
7. Curl you lashes and apply mascara. In this I am using the technique I learned from Wayne of gossmakeupartist. Using a lash comb apply your favorite mascara onto it then gently comb your lashes upward.  Doing this technique will keep you from having the annoying clamped lashes and I find my lashes more beautiful.
8. I'm going to set everything with a powder. I apply powder after I did my eye makeup so I can easily brush off the eye shadow fall outs.
9. Now for the cheeks. Take this pink blush and apply it on the apples of your cheeks. Apply lightly to make it appear like your blushing.
10. Finish off with a bright pink lipstick. I am using angel rose from Maybelline.

 Products used:
Ever Bilena Advance Stick foundation
Ever Bilena Advance 3D compact
Sansan Age defense concealer

Aido Makeup Set
Nichido Lengthening Mascara

Maybelline Color Sensation in Angel Rose

Other products shown:
Missha Time Revolution White Cure (Toner and moisturizer)
ELF Foundation primer

Now you're ready! I love the colors because they make me happy and now that I think about, I realized that you can also wear this look on your date this Valentine's Day. So there you have my version of Macaron Delight tutorial. I want to thank Michelle Phan for her tutorials. They do not only help me improve my makeup skills, her short stories also help me with my online tutorial job because my students  love them just as much as I love her makeup tutorial.

I hope you like this tutorial and thank you for reading. Dont forget to SUBSRIBE to my channel and Stay Fabulous.

Simple Date Makeup

Hey Everyone,

As February approaches, a lot of women out there are getting excited with their Valentine's date. Whether they spend time with their special someone or just hanging out with the girls, we all want to doll up on this special day. So here's a simple date makeup that I came up with for your gorgeous ladies out there.

Products that I used:
Face:
Revlon Colorstay foundation in Warm Golden
Ever Bilena Advance Studio Foundation in Creme
San San concealer #2
Ever Bilena Advance 3D compact in Light Baked Fusion

Eyes:
Nyx Nude on Nude Natural Look kit
Aido Classic Makeup Set
Nichido mineral brow liner in chestnut\
Nichido Mineral Kohl liner in Onyx
Maybelline Gel liner
Nichido Lengthening mascara

Blush:
Estee Lauder Pure color Palette in Radiant Kiss

Lips:
MAC Amplified

How I did it:
Face Preparation
1. Prepare your face. Make sure your face is clean and that you applied toner and moisturizer.
2. Apply primer if you want but in this video, I actually skipped it. :))
3. Apply foundation.
4. Apply lip balm. This will keep your lips moisturized.

Eyes
1. Prime your eyes. This will prevent your eye shadow from creasing.
2. Apply the golden eye shadow from the NYX Nude on Nude Natural look kit on the inner 2/3's of your lids.
3. Then apply shimmery dark  brown shadow from the same palette and then apply it on the outer v corner of your eyes and work your way up above the crease. Blend it into the middle.
4. Combine and chocolatey brown color and indigo then softly apply them on the inner half avoiding the inner tear duct.
5. This part I know I skipped in the video but you have to put and shimmery white or silver eye shadow on your tear duct creating a v-line. Then blend it with the indigo shadow.
6. Blend any hard edges using a tapered brush. I actually dipped it in to a taupe eye shadow to help them blend well.
7. Highlight the brow bone using a matte shadow that is just a little bit lighter than you skin tone.
8.  Line your upper lashline and smudge it.
9. Using a gel liner, line your water line and top it off with the folden e/s.
10. Curl your lashes and apply mascara. You can apply falsies if you want for a more flirty look.

Face 2
1. I reapplied my foundation but this time I used a lighter shade to erase any fall outs from the shadow and create and brighter face effect.
2. You can use concealer to cover up more but in this video I skipped it.
3. Apply pink blush.
4. Then finish everything off with a nude lipstick.

In this video, I skipped a lot of procedure because I was running out of time. I got too worried so I forgot so many things. Also at then end of the video, you will notice that I was saying something. That's because I already started my class.

Anyway, this look is not only perfect for date, you can only wear this look at any event. Whether it's day or night. That's just my opinion. You can also use different products if you want to.

I hope you like my tutorial and I am hoping to talk to you again on my next blog. Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a fabulous day.
